| District 41 has been a long time Democratic stronghold. Despite aggressive challenges from well known community figures, it has proved impossible to unseat Mr. Jones, and for good reason. Known in Juneau for is tenacious defense of the environment, Mr. Jones' voting contingent is solidified, loyal and unbeatable. Good for the environment, too bad for Mr. Colan. |

Its been a long time since District 41 has breathed the fresh air a solid conservative like Mr. Colan would bring to the a political atmosphere grown stale with years of status quo under the incumbant Mr. Jones. What has Mr. Jones done for you lately besides hugging trees? We need more timber development to revitalize this economy. Mr. Jones has proven he won't, or can't deliver. Mr. Colan's time has come.
